Meridian Hills continues to be a very safe and close-knit community, and that’s something we’re all proud of. Like any neighborhood, though, safety works best when we stay aware and follow a few simple, common-sense practices.
Our Town Marshal, Mike Russo, has shared a short reminder from a law-enforcement perspective, along with helpful guidance and key phone numbers to keep in mind. We encourage all residents to take a moment to review his message below and help us continue to look out for one another
Reminder from the Meridian Hills Town Marshal
We encourage residents to remain vigilant for suspicious activity or any situation or person which raises your concern for the safety of you or your family. If you see something suspicious or have an immediate need for law enforcement, call 9-1-1. It is also critical that you do not confront or challenge anyone in the process. Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles (even while in the garage) and not leave anything of value inside, especially vehicles parked outside, this would include any garage door openers which can be removed from the car.
For non-emergencies where life or property is not in immediate danger, call 317-327-3811.
